Being a preeminent and prestigious university in China with over 100 years’ history, Fudan University is located in Shanghai, the largest city and commercial/financial center of China. The history of her School of Law can be traced back to the late 1920s. Through the efforts of her faculty in over 80 years, the School of Law has become one of the leading institutions for legal education in China. The developed economy, high educational level, rich human resources, sound legal environment, and the unique economic status of Shanghai have long required Fudan University School of Law to educate students focusing on business and financial law; therefore, the School of Law has developed a very strong academic faculty in this field. She has provided numerous graduates to the government, courts, law firms, business corporations, law schools, and other institutions, and has established close links with many foreign leading law schools. Each year, there are many foreign students enrolled in the various programs at Fudan University School of Law.
